I apologize in advance if the images aren't of amazing quality, I was using my phone to catch these pictures. Also, this was just made because of a classmate asking me to make this for her. I have no affiliation with the character Elmo, or Sesame Street, or anything else related to those two. If you find any errors in the pattern, please let me know, as this hasn't been test knit as yet.
Materials:
Size 6 needles (free feel to use DPNs for ease of construction or even convert it to in the round)
Tapestry needle
Around 200 yards red yarn (fun fur to look even more similar to the actual character.
5 yards white yarn
2 yards black yarn
10 yards orange yarn
Stuffing
A Note On Construction:
Throughout this pattern you might see me say “Break yarn, pull through live stitches, and seam”.
To do this, break the live yarn, leaving a generous tail, which you thread through the tapestry needle.
Run the needle with the thread through the live stitches on the knitting needle, from the side furthest from the side the yarn starts on.
Pull the needle and thread through all the live stitches. Feel free to take the stitches off of the knitting needle now.
Give the needle and thread a firm tug to make sure that the stitches close up as much as they can, so your stuffing won't be spilling out everywhere. Then, sew up the remaining seam on the side.

Sew it into place. Then, use the long tail from the rounded top of the arm to sew up the side seam. Use a pencil to help turn it inside out if needed. You should get something that looks like this:
Repeat for the other arm.
Stuff legs firmly without overstuffing and sew to the bottom of the body.
Stuff arms and sew to the sides of the body.
Stuff head and body, sew head to body. DO NOT OVERSTUFF

JOINING:
Fold the top of the slipper in half, the side you want against your foot on the outside. The two long strips at the top should be in contact with each other. It should look like this:
Sew ONLY THE TOPS of the strips at the end together. Use a really long thread, for ease of attaching the sole later. This is the seam in the heel. It should look like this on the wrong side:
And like this on the right side:
Pick up the sole and hold it against the completed top. the sides you want against your feet should be on the inside. Sew the top of the slipper to the sole, being careful not to sew the hole that your foot is supposed to go through. When you're finished sewing it up, it should look like this on the inside:

and this when you flip it right side out:

It does look a bit fat and short at the moment, but it will take on a more conventional foot shape after being worn for a while, like so:
Repeat to complete the other side of the pair.

The Ribbon On My Wrist Says 'Do Not Open Before Christmas'
Yes, the title IS a Fall Out Boy lyric, but it's what inspired me to make these, so merh.
Please note that the button is not functional, and is just there to make everything all pretty.
Also note that I made these for myself, and I have some pretty small hands and wrists. Larger size is in parenthesis. If that still doesn't fit you, just add to your cast on amount.

Gaugeis 5 stitches and 10 rows per inch

Striped Fingerless Gloves
So a friend of mine asked me to make a pair of gloves for her. Now since I'm not a fan of knitting in the round (or picking up for fingers/thumbs either), this is more of a sleeve, knit flat. It's meant to have negative to no ease. Should fit the hand/arm of the average teenager or lady.
Gauge should be approx. 25 sts per sq. in.
Needed:
1 ball Bernat Satin in color Ebony (A)
1 ball NaturallyCaron.com Spa in color Natural (B)
1 pair of size 6 straight needles
1 tapestry needle
This amount of yarn will be able to make at least 2 pairs, maybe even 3.
1.In color A, cast on 26 stitches.
2.Work 5 rows of k1/p1 ribbing.
3.Knit 5 rows in color B.
4.Knit 5 rows in color A.
5. Repeat steps 3-4 4 more times.
6. Knit 5 rows color B.
7. Work 5 rows of k1/p1 ribbing in A.
8. Cast off loosely.
9. Fold in half (inside out) and stitch up the first inch, leaving 2 inches open for the thumb, then continue to stitch the of the seam.
10. Take care of any loose ends, and turn inside out, A.K.A. the 'right' way, the way you want people to see it. (The side that isn't nearly entirely purled!)

Holey Gloves
This uses almost the same pattern as the holey scarf. Because of construction and the materials it's made of, it should fit most hands...
Gauge should be 10 sts by 6 rows per sq. inch in k1/p1 ribbing, slightly stretched.
Used were Size 6/4mm straight knitting needles, and about 1/4 of a skein of sock yarn. (Loops & Threads Luxury Sock in color 'Crocuses')
Simply cast on 41 stitches and follow the chart. When finished, fold in half, and seam up, leaving space for a thumb hole. If you wish, you can sew together the material between the fingers, making small fingerholes, and making sure that they'll fit snugly.
On the plus side, if they stretch, it really shows off the pattern :D
